Seeking a Trade Qualified Painter with experience managing multiple repaint commercial sites in the Townsville region.

About the Role:
We're seeking a Trade Qualified Painter with experience managing multiple sites in the Townsville region. This is a dynamic, "off-the-tools" leadership position reporting to our Branch Manager, where approximately 80% of your time will involve site visits and project coordination, with the remaining 20% spent in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple concurrent commercial repaint projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness
- Plan and allocate resources including labour, subcontractors, and materials
- Monitor project progress and control costs to meet budgets and deadlines
- Maintain compliance with WHS standards and company policies
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Supervise and mentor on-site teams, promoting safety and quality
What You'll Bring:
- Trade qualification as a painter with experience in commercial projects
- Proven ability to manage small teams of employees and subcontractors across multiple sites
- Strong understanding of project budgets and cost estimating
- Proficiency in electronic documentation and reporting
- Commitment to safety standards and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Leadership skills with a focus on coaching and team development
