ECAAS Certification International is an accredited Certification Body that provides internationally recognised Certification Services for Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.

Due to growth across all areas of our business, we are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced third-party Auditor. The industries audited will vary from client to client, making each day unique. We require a person who can adapt to changing circumstances and varying workloads, ensuring quality work and an impeccable eye for detail.

Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct audits, including document reviews, stage 1 pre-assessments, stage 2 certification audits, surveillance audits, triennial recertification audits, corrective action reviews, and follow-up audits.
- Review the client’s Management System and its implementation and/or elements thereof.
- Collect objective evidence of compliance with applicable requirements.
- Assign specific tasks to audit team members where applicable.
- Report and discuss findings with the audit team members where applicable.
- Reach acceptable decisions regarding the compliance of the client’s Management System with applicable requirements.
- Assemble an audit report.
- Maintain audit records.
- Make recommendations for maintaining, granting, renewal, or suspension of certification.
- Understand and promote company programs.

Demonstrated Capability

- Ability to manage an audit team and coordinate all aspects of a complete management system audit to ISO 19011:2018 and ISO 17021-1:2015 requirements.
- Competency to conduct management system audits to ISO 17021-2:201, ISO 17021-3:2017, and/or ISO 17021-10:2018 requirements.
- Perform duties requiring mature professional knowledge, scope for individual accomplishment, and coordination of complex assignments.
- Recommendations are usually regarded as technically accurate and feasible, with sound judgment.
- Able to make responsible decisions on assigned matters.
- Work within guidelines, conforming to overall objectives, priorities, and cooperation with the Client Services team.

Requirements

Educational requirements

Successful completion of a course involving at least 600 hours of direct contact, leading to an award from a recognized body, college, or university. Equivalent distance learning courses or professional memberships are also recognized. Documentary evidence will be required.

Alternatively, candidates with 4 years of experience and demonstrated communication skills may be considered.

Management Systems Experience

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in implementing or applying certifiable management systems within the last 6 years.

Auditing Experience

Must have maintained an up-to-date audit log demonstrating experience under prescribed conditions. Examples include head office audits, division or plant audits, supplier audits, third-party certification audits, or independent consultancy audits.
