Job Description Casual Process Workers - Canning Vale location with secure parking & excellent facilities - Early morning shift available (no other shifts available at this time) - Must be available to commence 4.30am Tuesday to Friday At Lite n' Easy our goal is to create a healthier Australia by changing the way Australians eat. About the Role You will be working in a temperature controlled environment with a friendly team of people. You will need good hand eye coordination and be happy working at a fast pace while also being able to ensure quality work. Some of the tasks involve: - Checking and packing products according to company requirements - Selecting products according to customer and section requirements - Operating machinery including ensuring that weights and quality standards of products are being achieved - Handling food products appropriately and within strict hygiene standards - Cutting meat & vegetable ingredients to specification for processing, measuring, mixing and cooking. - Cleaning of work areas, machinery and equipment - Lift/push/pull up to 15kg - Working in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines - Working quickly at conveyor belts - Working in chilled and freezer conditions as required To be successful in this role, you will: - Have the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment - Able to work in a cold environment set to 4 degrees, possibility of freezer work - The ability to work within strict quality standards guidelines - Be an excellent team member with an energetic and flexible approach - Be reliable and punctual - Be physically fit and capable of working in a cold environment - Enjoy working as part of a team - Available to work Monday to Thursday and on Sundays if required We can offer you: - 16to 38 hours per week depending on shift allocation - Secure free onsite parking - Discount on products - Free onsite gym - Future potential for permanent part-time and full time roles Successful applicants will be team players who take pride in producing outstanding products and have excellent hand eye co-ordination. Some heavy lifting and work in a cold environment will be required. Whilst not essential previous experience in a FMCG environment working as a process worker would be advantageous.
