Management Accountant – BTP Hazelmere

The Management Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely provision of financial data to both Finance and non-Finance teams. This role will also play a key part in driving improvements to accounting systems and processes, enhancing both efficiency and compliance.

Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be a proactive, self-motivated individual who consistently strives for excellence. About You

- Tertiary Accounting Qualification

- Minimum 5+ years of Management Accounting experience, preferably in Mining Services or Manufacturing

- Proficient in the use of Coupa and PRONTO (preferable)

- Excellent technical accounting skills and analytical skills

- Proven experience in driving process improvements and system enhancements

- Ability to interpret, analyse and reconcile financial information

- Able to work collaboratively and independently

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.

- Ability to multitask, prioritise with excellent time management skills.

- Professional discretion plus excellent interpersonal skills.

About The Role

- Assist the month-end / year-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

- Balance sheet reconciliations

- Assist audit coordination for Mining Services with Perenti Corporate Finance Team

- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data

- Identify process automation and efficiency improvements

- Support ERP system enhancements and implementation projects

- Assist with monthly reporting pack preparation

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting reporting cycles

- Work closely with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insights

- Maintain the Fixed Assets Register for Accounting and Taxation purposes with respect to additions, disposals, transfers and splits of assets.
