The role

As a Financial Accountant, you’ll provide financial support, analysis, and reporting to finance business partners, the corporate group, and operational divisions. This role is critical in budgeting, forecasting, and month‑end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while driving improvements in systems and reporting.

This role is located in Market Street, Sydney, NSW.

Responsibilities

- Complete month‑end financial processing and reporting accurately and on time.

- Maintain fully reconciled balance sheet accounts each month.

- Ensure compliance with group and statutory reporting requirements (IFRS & US GAAP).

- Manage financial processes efficiently, including prepayments and journal vouchers.

- Support audits and tax compliance activities (FBT, GST, PAYG).

What you will need to succeed

- Qualified accountant (CA/CPA) with 3+ years’ experience.

- Proactive and resourceful, with strong problem‑solving skills.

- Comfortable asking questions and collaborating across teams.

- Able to work independently and think outside the box.

- Calm under pressure, adaptable to change, and solution‑focused.
