About the Role

Mother Kate’s Early Learning Centre (63-place, purpose-built) in Wondai is seeking a permanent part-time Assistant Director. Reporting to the Centre Director, you’ll mentor staff, support daily operations, and help deliver a high-quality learning environment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the Director with daily operations and compliance

- Mentoring educators and enhancing curriculum delivery

- Building strong relationships with families and the local community

- Providing hands-on support across the service

About You

You’ll bring:

- A Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education

- Valid Blue Card / Working with Children Check

- Experience as a Senior Educator, Educational Leader, or Assistant Director

Extra skills we value (but will support you in):

- First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training

- Understanding of the National Quality Framework

- Confidence with rostering or admin tasks
