About the Role

Are you passionate about empowering others through education? Catholic Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Workplace Educator to deliver high-quality induction, onboarding, and ongoing education to our teams at St. Catherine’s in Bathurst and St. Francis in Orange.

As a Workplace Educator, you will:

- Coordinate and deliver induction and onboarding programmes for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.

- Deliver engaging education and training to all staff, supporting compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.

- Conduct training needs analyses and develop learning plans to address identified gaps.

- Utilise blended learning approaches and adult learning principles to maximise engagement and competency.

- Support student placements and facilitate nationally recognised qualifications (e.g., traineeships, apprenticeships).

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including managers, clinical teams, and specialist providers.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Registration as a Registered Nurse (preferred) or significant clinical experience in aged care.

- Qualifications in Adult Training and Education (e.g., Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment).

- Demonstrated experience in delivering education and training programmes, using adult learning principles.

- Experience conducting Training Needs Analyses and developing learning plans.

- Strong understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Quality Standards.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Willingness and ability to travel between Bathurst and Orange (current driver’s licence required).

- Competence in using computer systems, including the Microsoft Office suite.
