About the role
Bathurst Health Service are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with open communication skills and emotional intelligence to provide positive leadership and model resilience to the Medical Ward Team.
You will be managing and supervising staff and clinical nursing practice with a focus on optimal patient outcomes and professional growth for staff. Other duties include case management, treatment planning, recruitment budgeting, scheduling, mentoring, and developing educational plans.
You’ll be a role model to uphold policies and professional standards practices with staff to deliver evidence‑based best‑practice and safe care. You’ll also be an advocate for our organisational change processes to continuously improve nursing care delivery.

Responsibilities
- Managing and supervising staff and clinical nursing practice with a focus on optimal patient outcomes and professional growth.
- Case management, treatment planning, recruitment budgeting, scheduling, mentoring and developing educational plans.
- Upholding policies and professional standards to deliver evidence‑based best‑practice and safe care.
- Advocating for organisational change processes to continuously improve nursing care delivery.
