Job Title: Field Service Technician

The Toro Company is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our Equipment team in Brisbane, QLD.

About the Role

This role reports to the Service Manager, Equipment, and is responsible for the mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance, and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment within a nominated region in support of a wider national network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage field service priorities and schedules.
  • Ensure service fleet vehicles' safety, cleanliness, and proper resourcing.
  • Coordinate and perform various mechanical tasks in repairing, maintaining, and servicing turf maintenance-related equipment.
  • Evaluate and maintain relevant service-related information.
  • Provide product service training to clients as required.
  • BUILD and maintain a customer base to promote the ongoing financial growth of the Service Centre.
  • Participate in regular internal product-based training to meet and exceed OEM service standards.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel and petrol engines.
  • Ability to use test and diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of mechanical or electrical problems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish effective business relationships with internal and external customers.
  • A valid Australian Motor Vehicle License.
