Catering Attendant

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Catering Attendant to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will support kitchen operations within a busy, fast-paced environment, ensuring the efficient preparation of meals for large-scale catering operations for various airlines. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring all kitchen equipment is in top condition. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a strong ability to work in a high-pressure setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised, and meets strict hygiene standards at all times.
Wash dishes and kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for use.
Help with stock rotation and ensure ingredients are stored properly.
Support the chefs and kitchen team in daily tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
Follow instructions from the kitchen team to assist with meal production and service.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Strong knife skills and experience in food preparation.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Previous experience as a catering attendant or in a similar role is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to follow instructions and work well under pressure.
