Switchboard Operator

Overview

As a Communications Administrator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive customer focused service as the first point of contact for our patients, visitors, specialists, and clinical and non-clinical staff.

Responsibilities

- Providing administrative support to various department
- Answering questions from patients, visitors, and staff, providing them with accurate and timely information
- Must be available to work a 24/7 rotating roster, which means you must be available for all shifts, day/night, weekends and holidays.

Required Skills and Experience

- Previous experience in a fast-paced switchboard or similar role.
- A strong commitment to providing excellent service with courtesy and respect for everyone you interact with.
- Outstanding interpersonal and verbal communication skills, including excellent enunciation, articulation, and listening skills for effective telephone conversations.
- Values honesty, integrity, and ethics
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to handle issues and resolve conflicts effectively

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $29.78 + superannuation based on qualifications and experience, exclusive of penalties and allowances.

Requirements

- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
