Job Description

We are expanding our team in Penrith and would love to welcome a passionate and dedicatedindependent Registered Psychologist Contractorto join us in making a positive impact in our community.

We are looking for Registered Psychologists in Penrith with experience working with NDIS participants.

In this role you will:

- Managing a caseload of NDIS Participants across the lifespan and from varying socio-cultural backgrounds and completing therapeutic processes in a timely manner.
- Undertakingcomprehensive clinical interviews and assessments, and interpreting findings to collaboratively determine and achieve goals that align with NDIS Plan goals.
- Delivering person-centred, tailored interventions with a systemic focus, that also includes delivery of therapeutic support and training to stakeholders.
- Monitoring, interpreting, reporting and addressing signs and symptoms of risk and acute distress that may arise during any therapeutic interventions.
- Providing written reports to NDIS outlining progress reviews and ongoing areas of need.
- Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Current general registration with AHPRA.
- Experience working with NDIS participants.
- Excellent time management, communication and writing skills.
- Relevant insurance including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
- Police clearance, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Active ABN.
