In this role, you would be supporting the Director of Anaesthetics to provide high-quality care, organisation, and management. This team consists of 11 other Specialists. It is well supported by 16 Registrars/PHO, 8 RMOs, and 9 interns.
The Department at this hospital also provides services to the regional hospitals in the area.
The Fraser Coast, known for its diverse natural landscapes, laid-back lifestyle, and mild climate, is located just a 45-minute flight north of Brisbane. This destination is the gateway to World Heritage-listed Fraser Island, famous for whale watching encounters and some of the safest family-friendly beaches in Queensland. Visitors can stroll along the Hervey Bay esplanade with alfresco cafes, shops, picnic areas, and a vibrant marina, or explore the history and culture in the provincial city of Maryborough.
This location is renowned as the whale watching capital of the world. It is a popular tourist destination with affordable real estate and excellent schools.
