The Opportunity
We’re looking for a highly skilled Plant Engineer to joinour team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our plant operates atmaximum efficiency, reliability, and output. You’ll provideexpert advice, drive process improvements, and lead the delivery ofcapital and plant upgrade projects.
Working closely with production, operations, and maintenanceteams, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impactthrough technical expertise, hands-on problem solving, andcontinuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively monitor and optimise plant operations tomaximise output and reliability.
- Recommend and implement process improvements, operationalchanges, and plant upgrades.
- Lead engineering projects, including cost analysis,contractor management, and safe delivery within budget andtimeframes.
- Apply data-driven tools to identify root causes, resolveissues, and improve quality.
- Support preventative maintenance programs and coachmaintenance teams to achieve performance and safetyoutcomes.
- Contribute to operator training and development to buildcapability across the team.
- Work occasional extended hours and call-ins, particularlyduring peak periods or urgent operationaldemands.
About You
You are a motivated engineer who thrives on solving problems,influencing outcomes, and delivering results in a complex plantenvironment.
You’ll bring:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process or ChemicalEngineering.
- Practical knowledge of PLCs, PID control, and SCADAsystems.
- Strong data analysis, report writing, and presentationskills.
- Ability to manage contractors and deliver projectssuccessfully.
- Commitment to health, safety, and continuousimprovement.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagementskills.
