About the role

We are excited to announce an opening for Trainee Plant Operators at our manufacturing site in Deer Park. This is a great opportunity to start a rewarding career in a supportive and inclusive industrial environment, where diverse perspectives are valued and encouraged.

In this role, you’ll receive hands‑on training in plant operations, safety protocols, and equipment handling. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and gain the foundational skills needed to grow in a high‑performing team. The position follows a well‑balanced 12‑hour rotating roster, offering extended rest days to support work‑life balance.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds who are eager to learn, safety‑focused, and ready to build a career in manufacturing.

What you will be doing

- Producing batches of emulsifier by transferring, mixing, and reacting chemicals in bulk reactors (training provided);

- Maintaining plant areas and equipment to operational standards;

- Assisting chemists and engineers in trialing new products and processes;

- Transporting loads using forklifts and bulk transfers;

- Following all safety, health, and environmental procedures.

What you will bring

- A strong commitment to safety in everything you do;

- Basic computer literacy and a willingness to learn new systems;

- A current forklift licence (highly regarded);

- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments (preferred but not essential);

- Motivation to grow and progress into a Control Room Operator role.
