Senior Business Analyst – 6 Month Daily Rate Contract. Location: Sydney. Flexible working arrangements within a supportive team culture. You will join a forward‑thinking organisation working on a three‑year programme with an initial six‑month contract and strong potential for extension. You will lead analysis activities, mentor other analysts, and act as a key liaison between business and technology teams to support large‑scale digital transformation and process redesign that enhances operational efficiency and customer experience.

What you'll do

As a Senior Business Analyst based in Sydney, you will:

- Collaborate with claims business stakeholders and technology teams to analyse current processes and technology platforms, identifying improvements to streamline operations and elevate customer experiences.
- Gather, interpret, and present complex data sets to provide actionable insights for multiple levels of the organisation.
- Use appropriate analytical tools and techniques to produce outputs that are concise, accurate, and accessible to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Assess backlogs and prioritise initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader roadmaps while managing risks and dependencies.
- Build strong relationships with product owners, developers, and subject matter experts to establish a technical vision and evaluate opportunities or trade‑offs.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather information, align priorities, and ensure stakeholder buy‑in.
- Mentor junior analysts within the team, fostering a collaborative approach to analysis and quality assurance activities.
- Participate in defect triage and support resolution during QA testing phases, incorporating feedback into changes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing learnings and best practices within the squad and across the agile release train.
