Help keep Melbourne moving by enhancing the passenger experience on board our iconic trams.

We’re looking for a skilled Rolling Stock Passenger Experience (PX) Maintenance Technician to carry out electrical and presentation maintenance across our fleet. This hands‑on role supports the delivery of safe, clean, and reliable trams for all Victorians.

Your new role

As a PX Maintenance Technician, you’ll:

- Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on tram systems including lighting, CCTV, PA systems, destination boards, and passenger information displays

- Carry out presentation tasks such as graffiti removal, seat exchange, and window polishing

- Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical components and systems

- Conduct inspections across depots and document all work in line with safety and quality standards

- Support reporting, documentation, and coordination with supervisors and the PX regime team

- Champion safety and environmental standards across all maintenance sites

What you’ll bring

You’re a qualified tradesperson with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to passenger safety and comfort. You’ll also have:

- A completed apprenticeship in a relevant trade

- A current Victorian Driver’s Licence

- Ability to obtain/hold Rail Safety Worker accreditation

- Experience working in operational environments with tight deadlines

- Strong communication skills and a safety‑first mindset
