We are experiencing significant growth and as a result we are looking for a highly motivatedReliability Engineerto join our Maintenance Department based at our Poitrel mine operation. Located 35 kilometres east of Moranbah in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, this is a site based role Monday to Friday (DIDO or residential). As Reliability Engineer, you will provide specialist advice, conduct analysis and benchmarking of the Maintenance function's end-to-end performance and identify and implement improvement initiatives. This will include: - Perform detailed analysis of end-to-end work processes, master data, work instructions and organisational design to identify inefficiencies in work execution and coordinate opportunities for improved business outcomes. - Implement maintenance work plans to validate the integrity of assets, equipment and infrastructure in accordance with defined standards and procedures or industry best practice. - Analyse life of asset, equipment and infrastructure and determine equipment capability assumptions based on the operational plan and provides input into the development of the capital budget for the respective area of accountability. - Initiate root cause analysis and "failure type" reviews (e.g.5 Whys) of asset, equipment and infrastructure based on non-compliance to planned availability or unpredicted failures. - Participate in in-depth review of weekly SAP monitoring and control process to ensure process compliance and work management effectiveness. To be successful, you will have: - Experience in mining reliability maintenance programs, methods & techniques or experience in similar Engineering roles - Experience with Mobile HME specifically Caterpillar, Hitachi and Komatsu is highly desirable - Proven industry experience with a track record of defect elimination & root cause analysis - Experience with SAP - or other CMMS & Excel skills are desirable - Extensive, technical expertise in the 'whole of life' maintenance equipment. - Flexible approach to work and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. - Mechanical Trade or Tertiary/ bachelor’s degree in engineering and relevant reliability experience in a heavy industrial environment. - Queensland Drivers Licence.
