Senior Manager, Marketing – Digital & New Channels
Department: Marketing
Position Type: Full-time, salaried position with potential to earn an incentive bonus. This is a hybrid position, therefore, an efficient home office environment with reliable internet service is required.
Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Marketing – Digital & New Channels is a hands-on growth marketer responsible for helping build and scale new customer acquisition channels at HomeWorks Energy, with a primary focus on growing our direct-to-consumer HVAC business and supporting the launch of our HomeWorks Home Checkup (HCUP) product.
This role is designed for a nimble, execution-oriented marketer who enjoys being in the work, testing ideas, and turning insights into action. You will own day-to-day performance across paid digital and emerging channels, partner closely with agencies, and help expand HomeWorks’ reach beyond its Mass Save roots. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, low-ego, high-accountability environment.
The Senior Manager will report directly to the CMO and work closely with Marketing, Analytics, Operations, IT, and agency partners. Over time, this role may grow in scope as new channels mature and internal capabilities expand.
Essential Functions
The Essential Functions are representative, but not all-inclusive, of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Execute and optimize customer acquisition campaigns across paid digital and emerging channels, including paid search, paid social, LSAs, and test channels such as out of home, billboards, radio, and television.
- Support the growth of a standalone HVAC acquisition engine, helping strengthen HomeWorks’ brand association as a trusted HVAC provider.
- Support the launch and ongoing development of the HomeWorks Home Checkup (HCUP) product in partnership with the CMO and cross-functional teams.
- Balance performance-driven campaigns with early-stage brand-building initiatives.
- Operate with a test–learn–scale mindset, running experiments across channels, creative, messaging, and offers.
- Analyze campaign performance to identify opportunities to improve lead volume, conversion rates, and efficiency.
- Make data-informed recommendations to adjust spend, creative, and channel mix.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with external agencies across paid digital and emerging media.
- Coordinate campaign launches, creative development, and reporting with agency partners.
- Help hold agency partners accountable to performance goals and timelines.
Cross Functional Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with Field Marketing and Direct Mail teams to ensure aligned messaging and integrated campaigns, without directly owning those channels.
- Partner with Marketing Analytics and IT to improve attribution, reporting, and performance visibility.
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure marketing efforts align with operational capacity and customer experience.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Track and report on key performance indicators including lead volume, schedules, and customer acquisition cost.
- Support ambitious growth targets, including scaling HVAC and HCUP schedules during peak seasons.
- Share insights and learnings regularly with marketing leadership.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–8+ years of experience in B2C marketing, with a strong emphasis on digital and performance marketing.
- Experience marketing home services, HVAC, or adjacent categories preferred.
- Hands‑on experience executing campaigns across paid search, paid social, and digital media platforms.
- Experience working with external agencies and vendors.
- Experience in startup to mid‑sized company environments preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with performance data.
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems to support campaign execution and reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Health Insurance
- Vision Insurance
- Paid training
- 401k Retirement Plan with match
- PTO with accrual schedule
- Employee Assistance Program
- Hybrid work environment
Compensation: $95,000-$125,000 annual with opportunity to earn incentive performance bonus.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This is an individual contributor position with no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Hybrid position: This role is primarily remote, with an expectation of being in the office approximately one day per week if location permits. When working remotely, the employee is required to have a workspace free of distraction during work hours to perform job duties.
Limited travel may be required
Physical Demands:
- Requires sitting at a desk for extended periods of time, working on a computer, and participating in meetings.
- May require occasional travel via personal or company‑provided vehicle.
