Are you a creative thinker who loves bringing ideas to life through design? Join our Strategic Communication Service team and help shape the way our community sees and connects with the Shire of Mundaring.
Based at the Administration Centre in Mundaring, this part-time role offers the chance to work in the heart of the Perth Hills, surrounded by bushland, trails and a vibrant local community.
As Graphic Designer, you’ll support our Senior Graphic Designer in creating high-quality visual assets for both print and digital channels. Your work will ensure our new brand identity is applied consistently and creatively across everything from publications and signage to social media and community campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce engaging visual assets for various platforms, including print, web, social media, and internal communications.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
- Maintain strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
- A Certificate, Diploma, or relevant experience in Graphic Design.
- Experience in producing design work, whether through professional roles, internships, or volunteer projects.
- A working portfolio that demonstrates design capability across print and/or digital formats.
- Sound knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, and layout.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) or similar editing software.
