About the role and where you will be working:

At Southern Cross East Fremantle, we are looking for dedicated Care Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide vital support to residents with their daily living activities, while also helping them engage in social and community life. Guided by your supervisor, you’ll play an important part in ensuring every resident experiences quality care and positive outcomes.

We currently have morning, afternoon and night shifts available.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Maintain continuity of care by reading and following care plans.
- Complete domestic duties as required.
- Communicate resident care needs to the supervisors on a daily basis.
- Contribute in creating a safe and friendly environment for all our residents.
- Show compassion & exercise patience.

About you:

Currently working or volunteering in the community and wanting different hours?

You’re comfortable working on your own & in a team environment and enjoy spending time with elderly people.

To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

- A Certificate III in Aged Care/ Individual Care or equivalent.
- Initiative & the ability to effectively prioritise & multitask.
- Great communication skills (spoken & written).
- Attention to detail for good record keeping.
- Morning and afternoon availability is desirable.
