We believe that our employees are the key to our success. We want to engage and empower our diverse, global team to co-create value with our customers through our solutions in contract logistics and air, ocean, ground, and finished vehicle transport.
YOUR ROLE
Join CEVA Logistics as a Transport Compliance Coordinator, supporting our commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement across Ground & Rail and Finished Vehicle Logistics operations.
Based at our Berrinba site, with regular travel to Pinkenba, you’ll work closely with the wider Transport Compliance and operational teams to ensure CEVA meets or exceeds its obligations under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and Chain of Responsibility (CoR).
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety – combining field audits, coaching, and data-driven analysis to enhance compliance performance across CEVA’s transport network.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
- Support the Transport Compliance Manager to monitor and implement compliance standards under HVNL and CoR
- Assist in developing and maintaining CEVA documentation covering load restraint, fatigue, maintenance, licensing and mass management
- Conduct site visits and audits at Berrinba and Pinkenba to identify and drive improvements in transport safety practices
- Participate in investigations and reviews (including Myosh and ICAM processes) as required
- Support training needs analysis and deliver toolbox talks, awareness sessions and compliance-based learning
- Contribute to the rollout of digital compliance tools and integrated safety systems
- Assist with the preparation of reports and data insights to inform governance and continuous improvement.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate has solid experience gained in transport operations and a genuine passion for compliance and safety. You will also have:
- Qualifications in Transport & Logistics or equivalent industry experience
- Applied knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and/or Heavy Vehicle National Regulations
- Sound written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and educate others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems / tools (e.g. safety, transport, etc.)
- A proactive, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?
In addition to a challenging and rewarding work environment and competitive compensation, we are proud to offer a range of employee benefits designed to support your wellbeing, and help you thrive at work and in life.
- Personal wellbeing: prioritise your health and wellbeing through the CEVAwell program, Employee Assistance Program, Volunteer Time Off, and Life & Total Permanent Disability Insurance.
- Work-life balance: benefit from flexible, hybrid, and remote work options, along with additional paid parental leave for primary carers.
- Professional development: your growth is essential to us. Unlock your potential through secondment and internal mobility opportunities, study assistance, leadership and mentoring programs, the CMA CGM Learning Academy, early career pathways and more.
- Financial wellbeing: We care about your financial security. Enjoy exclusive offers and discounts from our partners, novated leasing, annual safety workwear reimbursement, employee referral incentives, service recognition and short-term incentive plans.
