This fully accredited, long-standing family practice located near the heart of Bundaberg, they are committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. This practice is proud to be a teaching institution, offering hands-on learning experiences to medical students, nurses from local universities and TAFEs, and registrar placements. They believe in fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals through real-world clinical training and mentorship. The team includes four highly skilled contracted doctors, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager, Nurses, and Administrative Staff, all working together to ensure a welcoming and efficient environment for both patients and learners. Position Description:
Clinical Responsibilities

- As a medical practitioner, provide high quality clinical health services for patients in accordance with best practice and RACGP guidelines

- Provide after hours, on call services as rostered if applicable.

- Inspecting and updating patients’ charts.

- Diagnosing common ailment such as colds, flu and diabetes.

- Administering medication topically, orally and via intravenous or intramuscular injections.

- Prescribing apt medications and lifestyle alterations.

- Collecting samples and sending these to laboratories for further testing.

- Anticipating and responding to patients’ wellness-related questions and concerns.

- Administering or prescribing appropriate treatment.

- Providing skin checks

- Mental Health Consultations

- Chronic Disease Management

- Preventative Health Consultations

Position Requirements:

- Current AHPRA registration

- Fellowed General Practitioner

- Education, qualifications and training

- Maintain CPD

- Attendance at medical conferences and presentations

- Attending Webinars provided by medical professionals

After Hours Requirements: No

Salary Information:
Percentage of billings.
