Our multidisciplinary team is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist with experience in hospital rehabilitation programs and varied acute casemix to join our team. Expect to work within an environment whereby you will feel appreciated, recognized and supported by management.

About us

Campbelltown Private Hospital is an 82 bed Medical/ Surgical and Rehabilitation facility with an expanding range of both inpatient and day patient programs. Our purpose built modern facility includes a 34-bed Rehabilitation Centre, which offers state of the art facilities, located in Park Central, the new medical hub of Campbelltown.

Responsibilities

- You will plan, assess, implement and evaluate clinical care in collaboration with patients/families and the multidisciplinary team so as to achieve identified goals and health outcomes.

- Contribute to the coordination of clinical care whilst working in partnership with the allied health team, nursing and non‑clinical staff providing direct and indirect clinical input, direction and guidance.

- Incorporate the provision of education and support to patients and their carer/family for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation and discharge plans.

- Conduct individual and group therapy programs.

- Commit to an ongoing learning and professional development portfolio to ensure case mix requirements are supported and registration requirements are met.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Authority to Work in Australia

- Generalist acute clinical experience, including hospital‑based rehabilitation with 2‑5 years post‑graduate experience.

- Working with Children check.

- Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.

- Registration with AHPRA.

- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement.

- Self‑motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team.

- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and patient‑focused.

- Flexibility in managing a varied caseload and implementing group and individual programs.
