Due to growth of our safeSPACE Connect program, PCYC is looking for a Case Worker to join our team. safeSPACE Connect is a newly established, innovative program providing individualised case management and targeted group programs that will create a positive impact for young people.
PCYC is the leading WA youth organisation, working with the WA Police Force, Community and Government Agencies to ensure that young people across WA reach their potential. This all happens from our 16 centres located from Albany in the South to Kununurra in the North-West.
About the role:
Reporting directly to the Program Coordinator, the Case Worker will:
- Support the successful implementation of the program across our Perth Metro locations.
- Deliver effective individualised case management alongside group programs and workshops to young people.
- Deliver best practice youth work across PCYC centres.
- Work closely with stakeholders to develop and deliver engaging, impactful programs and case management that supports the well-being and safety of at-risk youth.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating outcomes and implementing best practices, developing safe and effective workplace practice.

About you:
- A minimum Cert IV in Youth/Community or related areas.
- Demonstrated experience in providing one-to-one casework support to assist young people with complex co-occurring needs aged 10-25
- Experience in delivering group-based programs
- Knowledge, experience, and competency in utilising strengths-based, person-centered, trauma-aware, and solutions focused approaches.
- Well-developed knowledge of social, cultural and economic issues affecting young people
- Possess high level written and interpersonal skills and competent in using Microsoft packages and other computer programs
- Ability to practice to the standards of WA Youth Work Code of Ethics
- Possess or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance issued within the 6-month period and Working with Children Check.
- Driver’s Licence required for the role.
