We have an opportunity for a Senior Civil Drafter to join our Community Development team in Maroochydore. This role will see you provide civil design services using AutoCAD for a wide variety of urban development projects. Our projects are located locally and throughout the Southeast Queensland region.

Responsibilities

- Preparation of conceptual and detailed design drawings in accordance with statutory requirements and standards
- Civil engineering design for land subdivision, road and drainage projects using AutoCAD
- Participate in the delivery of projects and ensure output is of a high standard and within time and cost budget allocations
- Managing deliverables of a project including quality control and the coordination of drafting staff
- Providing input to the continuous improvement of our design and drafting standards
- Ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded

About You

- Demonstrated Civil drafting experience, ideally in civil infrastructure, land, urban or subdivisions
- Demonstrated experience using design software including AutoCAD
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements
- A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development
- 12D Design experience highly regarded
