Days & Hours of Work: Monday – Friday totalling 38 hours per week
Competitive Salary: Band 4- $74,980.49 + 12% superannuation
Location: Corporate Centre in Sandringham, with the flexibility to work from home

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Development Services Team as a Development Services Support Officer on a fixed term basis. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high levels of Administrative Support to the Development Services Department.
Key Responsibilities & Competencies
- The ability to provide a very high standard of Customer Service, with at least 3 years’ experience. Local Government experience is desirable.
- Extensive experience in document management and software systems and be able to provide high quality written responses and have excellent attention to detail.
- An interest in playing a key role in maintaining and improving the liveability and environment of Bayside.
- Ability to work on a number of activities simultaneously and be organised.
- Demonstrated ability to support the processing of applications for development and/or other types of customer service requests.
- Demonstrated ability to use word processing, spreadsheets, as well as planning process administration and records management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively to a team environment
- Relevant practical work experience.
Mandatory pre‑employment requirements
- Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check.
- Provide or obtain an employment‑based Working with Children check.
