Additional Information:

- These roles are Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/ fortnight
- Domestic relocation is supported
- Availability to work a roster of early morning shifts starting from 2am
- Availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday)
- As part of the recruitment process this role requires a National Police Check for final candidates

About this work area

As Goods Flow Team Leader your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Managing and supporting the day-to-day operations, activities and co-workers of the Goods Flow team including rostering, breaks, and ensuring KPIs are communicated and achieved throughout the team.
- Ensuring that yourself and the co-workers around you possess a safety mindset, work in compliance with the internal IKEA regulations, standard operating procedures and local legislation relating to health, safety and security and the environment.
- Planning, organising and monitoring the logistics operations, ensuring co-workers are aware of their responsibilities and processes are complete on time.
- Support your manager in managing the recruitment, retention, performance management, succession planning and competence development of the team.
- Ensuring co-workers are actively supported in their daily work and you actively develop, coach and mentor your team through set reviews and on the job conversations.
- Secure effective, qualitative and efficient daily goods flow operation in order to guarantee customer shopping experience through quality of products, merchandising and stock accuracy.

Who you are

As Goods Flow Team Leader you are and/or have:

- Passionate about Logistics and how it contributes to creating customer satisfaction & a seamless shopping experience.
- Comfortable working a mix of strategic, tactical, and operational tasks. You enjoy working in a fast paced, vibrant, and changing multidimensional environment.
- A people’s person, with proven experience leading & developing people and thrive in building relations and influencing others.
- Good self-awareness & have a safety mindset, leading yourself and others, to provide a safe working environment, whilst delivering results.
- A forward thinker who works calmly under pressure, taking ownership of quick decisions and problem solving.
