About the Role

Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking casual Environmental Service Workers for our Mitchelton location which is conveniently located less than a 10 minute walk from both Oxford Park and Mitchelton train stations. This role will see you working within “Moonah Park” our 98 bed Residential Aged Care home in the leafy Brisbane suburb of Mitchelton; this role is predominantly in our servery area and will see you working within our kitchen assisting with plating food, food service, setting up the dining room for meals and may include some food handling. The role may also include some capacity to be cross-trained in other areas of the kitchen, laundry and cleaning teams.

About You

Are you somebody who is passionate about food and serving your community?

Essential:

- Proven experience in commercial food preparation/food service
- Has a strong knowledge of safe food hygiene practices and kitchen safety
- Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
- Hold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to offer sponsorship
