SAL Consulting is a leader in the field of neurodevelopment, attachment and a trauma-informed (NATI) practice, an accredited provider of Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) through the Child Trauma Academy in the USA, an accredited NDIS Provider, and a Registered Training Organisation.
Our work includes working with a diverse population, including providing support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families.

As our existing Allied Health team continues to do amazing work, our referral base keeps quickly growing, creating opportunities to expand our allied health team. The successful candidate will be given an opportunity to participate in improving other people’s lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred services, working with a range of clients across a range of needs from short-term involvement, to complex, long-term needs. This will involve, but is not limited to:
- assessing, diagnosing, designing and implementing interventions with clients who present with a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders;
- participation in multidisciplinary assessments;
- providing client support including clinic or home-based sessions, training and resource development.
Our office is based in Pennant Hills. The position will require regular travel around the Sydney metro area and occasional regional travel. Opportunities for interstate / remote area projects are available to our team of practitioners at times. There is also an option to work from home for administration / report writing. Ideally this would be a full time position, however, would be open to consider a part time engagement for the right candidate.
Desired Skills and Experience
- A degree in Speech Pathology and eligibility for certified practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
Desirable Experience, Interest and Skills:
- Experience working with people with developmental delays and disabilities;
- Experience conducting Communication assessments, treatment planning and intervention;
- Experience in Mealtime Management.
Due to the nature of our business, it is required that our staff:
- have a current Driver’s Licence;
- have a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening, or the ability to attain these checks.
