Overview
Site Manager, Icon Cancer Centre | St Vincent’s Northside (Chermside). Full-time, permanent role leading the Icon Cancer Centre in St Vincent’s Northside, opening early 2026. Co-located with St Vincent’s Private Hospital, delivering radiation oncology services with a patient-centred approach and operational excellence. You will play a pivotal role in setting up the service, establishing workflows, and building a high-performing team.
Opportunity
As the Site Manager, you will provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team, ensure the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency, oversee daily operations, resource management, and quality assurance, and contribute to business strategy by driving initiatives and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with the organisation’s vision and values. You will report to the State Manager and collaborate with the Business Development Manager to implement strategic plans that enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery with a patient-centric focus.
- Manage resources to optimise workflow, quality, and productivity.
- Build and nurture a high-performance culture emphasizing collaboration and patient-centric care.
- Develop and implement plans for service innovation and operational improvement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external doctors.
- Partner with the Business Development Manager to execute the site’s operational plan.

Skills and Experience
- Understanding of healthcare service delivery in both public and private sectors.
- Experience in a healthcare management role with a collaborative leadership style.
- Ability to balance patient care with stakeholder demands.
- Strong financial, analytical, and business planning skills in a KPI-driven environment.
- Commitment to fostering team development through learning and assessment programs.
- Dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
Qualifications
- Management or business qualification (undergraduate or postgraduate) is highly desirable.
- A relevant health qualification (e.g., Radiation Therapist, Registered Nurse) with current AHPRA registration is desirable.
