Mobile Crusher / Machine Operator

Regional Group Australia is a leading independent Australian construction material producer across regional NSW, VIC & QLD. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Mobile Crusher / Machine Operator to join our team.

Experience in operation and maintenance of mobile crushing and screening equipment is essential; you must be well versed in communicating with management and controlling a small crew. Your work area will primarily cover all VIC operations.

Duties include, but not limited to:

- Oversee and operate mobile crushers, screens, loaders, excavators etc.

- Identify and report repairs and maintenance items.

- Optimise mobile equipment to achieve low running costs and conforming materials.

- Conduct machine troubleshooting and minor repairs.

- Ensure safety and compliance documentation is completed and reported.

- Work from remote accommodation on a regular basis during the week.

- Conduct routine screen changes as required.

- Participate in daily toolbox talks.

- Develop a thorough understanding of Maas Group WHS policies and procedures.

- Follow all instructions from Quarry Supervisor.

Required skills and experience:

- Excellent communication skills.

- Tickets for excavator and front-end loader essential.

- Experience with mobile crushing machines and associated equipment highly desirable.

- High drive and work ethic.

- Well organised.

- Good leadership qualities.

- Car/rigid truck licence.

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment prior to commencement on site.
