You will be responsible for carrying out manual work which will include:* Operation of machinery.* Packaging newspapers in a timely manner and within allocated timeframes.* Ensure the safe operation of machinery at all times.* 5 days a week of late afternoon/night shifts (20-25 hours per week, 4 pm or 8 pm starts)* Previous experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment involving process working or pick/packing will be seen as advantageous.* Collaborative team player approach to your work.* Strong adherence to safety policies and standards.* Manual Handling capability is essential.* Ability to work effectively in a time-constrained environment.* Flexibility to work across a 7 day roster.* Availability to cover additional shifts at short notice.* LF forklift licence or plan to get a licence**News Benefits**News Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients and communities.
