At M2P Engineering, you’ll be part of a crew that gets the job done right — safely, efficiently, and with pride. This is your chance to take ownership of critical maintenance and parts coordination for our Prominent Hill operations and help us deliver projects the way they should be. As our valued Maintenance & Parts Coordinator, you’ll support the efficient operation and maintenance of M2P’s plant and equipment fleet. You’ll ensure pre-starts are accurately recorded, maintenance is forecasted, required parts are ordered and assembled into service kits, and parts containers are maintained and controlled. Your role is critical in enabling proactive maintenance scheduling and maximising plant availability across all projects. Based onsite at Prominent Hill on a 2:1 FIFO roster, you’ll draw on your maintenance coordination and systems expertise to ensure assets are ready, parts are available, and maintenance activities run smoothly. You’ll make an impact by: - Logging all equipment pre-starts into IFS daily and maintaining accurate maintenance records. - Supporting work order and service schedule setup within IFS to enable proactive maintenance planning. - Forecasting maintenance requirements and aligning labour and servicing schedules with site needs. - Identifying, ordering, and allocating service parts ahead of scheduled maintenance. - Assembling service kits and maintaining parts containers to ensure stock accuracy and readiness. - Coordinating with workshop, stores, and site teams for parts delivery and maintenance scheduling. - Entering daily cost reports and providing updates on maintenance progress, parts availability, and forecasts. What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: - Experience in plant, equipment, or maintenance coordination (preferably mining, construction, or heavy industry). - Strong understanding of preventative maintenance systems and parts management. - Proficiency with IFS (or similar ERP/asset management systems). - Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills. - Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. Ideally, you will also have: - FIFO or remote site experience. - Mechanical or trade background. - A proactive, accountable approach with strong teamwork across departments. Why M2P Engineering?
