High Pressure Cleaner

**Position Description**: Pressure Cleaner Operator / Gutter Cleaner

**Position Summary**:
This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments and weather conditions. Excellent customer and working relationships are essential. The role requires the ability to collaborate effectively within a team while also demonstrating independence and initiative when working alone.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Pressure Cleaning Operations
- Operate and maintain high-pressure cleaning equipment.
- Clean surfaces such as roofs, driveways, patios, walls, and gutters.
- Assess surfaces to determine appropriate cleaning techniques and detergents.

2. Equipment Maintenance
- Inspect and maintain cleaning equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Perform minor repairs and report major maintenance needs promptly.

3. Safety and Compliance
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to company policies and site-specific safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all job sites.

4. Customer Service
- Interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality results.

5. Administrative Duties
- Complete job documentation and reports as required.
- Use site-specific check-in apps and complete job-related inductions.

**Essential Requirements**:
1. **National Police Clearance**:

- A current National Police Clearance certificate is required.

2. **Working with Children and Vulnerable People Check**:

- Valid certification ensuring suitability for working in environments involving children and vulnerable people.

3. **Working Safely at Heights Certification**:

- Certification demonstrating the ability to work safely at heights is highly desirable or a willingness to obtain

4. **White Card**:

- Construction Induction Training Card (White Card) is required for working on construction sites or a willingness to obtain

5. **Reliable Transportation**:

- Must have reliable personal transport, as the role involves traveling to multiple job sites.

- Adherence to a strict alcohol and drug-free policy while attending work sites.

8. **Comfort with Heights**:

- Must be safe, comfortable, and confident working at heights, as roof work is a common part of the role.

- Reasonable technology skills are necessary for completing inductions and using site-specific check-in apps.

**Desirable Attributes**:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Previous experience in pressure cleaning or a similar role.**

**Working Conditions**: Work will be performed at various residential, commercial, educational, government and industrial sites. A number of sites require online inductions prior to attendance.

**Exposure to outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.** Regular work at heights and use of specialized safety equipment.
