About the role

This truly is a tremendous opportunity to be the personality in the role of Weather Presenter for WIN Television. Reporting to the National News Director and based in our Wollongong office, you will be responsible for presentation of weather bulletins and updates. This role will see you liaise with journalists and senior news managers across the network.

You will be a degree-qualified reporter working as a professional journalist in the media industry, with at least three years experience. Preferably possessing knowledge of weather reporting, you will be required to represent the Company publicly and maintain a professional and creditable profile within all news related, publicity and promotional activity.

About you

- Demonstrate presentation, grammatical correctness and credibility as a Journalist/Presenter.

- Be involved in publicity, promotion and community involvement.

- Ensure integrity and credibility of the news presentation.

- Ensure accuracy and excellent attention to detail.

- Communicate effectively, both orally and written.

- Contribute ideas and demonstrate initiative and flexibility.

- Be available to work fulltime at 38 hours a week.

- Have a demonstrated positive work ethic and the ability and willingness to learn new systems.

- Demonstrated superior communication and relationship building skills, as well as a thorough understanding of Media Law.
