Head of Digital Sales
Overview
Be part of ING’s digital transformation. ING Australia is pursuing an ambitious growth strategy to become the most loved mobile-led bank in the country. Our approach involves digitising customer experiences, offering innovative products, and ensuring safe, excellent delivery.
As the Head of Digital Sales, (internally known as Product Area Lead, Digital Sales), you’ll drive the strategy, delivery, and performance of our digital sales channels across the digital customer journey. You’ll lead cross-functional squads to create seamless, customer-centric digital experiences that convert and retain customers across our product portfolio.
This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, and technology — with a clear focus on channel performance and conversion uplift rather than funnel ownership. You’ll manage the digital sales funnel from discovery and lead generation to conversion and onboarding, with accountability shaped by what happens in the channel, not just where it sits in the funnel.
Ready to make an impact?
What you’ll do
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the digital sales channels strategy across the digital customer journey aligned with business goals.
- Product Ownership: Oversee the roadmap, prioritisation, and delivery of digital sales initiatives.
- Customer Experience: Champion data-driven design and experimentation to optimise conversion and engagement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leaders across product, marketing, technology, and compliance.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a growing team of product managers, designers, and engineers in an agile environment.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a visionary leader with:
- Proven experience in digital product leadership, ideally in financial services or e-commerce.
- Strong understanding of digital sales funnel, from discovery and lead generation to conversion and onboarding, customer journeys, and conversion optimisation.
- Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A passion for innovation, experimentation, and delivering measurable outcomes.
What’s in it for you?
- Discounted ING Health Insurance
- An additional Rest Day to support your wellbeing
- An IMPACT day to volunteer on approved sustainability activity
