Position

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be accountable for leading the finance function. This includes overseeing daily finance operations, monthly reporting, BAS, FBT, consolidations, budgeting, forecasting, and providing meaningful commercial insights to partner with the business. You will provide strategic financial leadership, including insights, deeper analysis, and managing risks and opportunities. Good systems knowledge and the ability to use automation to achieve efficiencies, along with dashboards for decision-making, are essential.

Profile

You should be CA/CPA qualified, technically excellent, with broad accounting knowledge. Proven experience in team leadership and guiding a finance team is essential. You should have a keen attention to detail, be both hands-on and strategic, and possess emotional intelligence and curiosity. Resilience, calmness, and a sense of ownership over the finance function are important qualities.

This role is a key leadership position during a time of change. You will be able to see the positive impact of your work. The COO will provide support and guidance, allowing you the space to perform your role effectively. You will have opportunities to learn and grow.

The organisation offers a flexible, hybrid work environment and a competitive salary package of $200,000 per annum (including superannuation).
