We’re looking for a customer-focused Pet Transport Sales Consultant to join our team. In this remote role, you’ll be the friendly voice helping pet owners arrange safe, stress-free travel for their furry family members - providing reassurance and exceptional service every step of the way.
This is a full-time remote role, with rostered shifts falling Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm AEST/AEDT, and every third Saturday from 10am to 2pm. The successful applicant must be available to work within these hours.
What You’ll Do
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound pet transport enquiries via website, email, and phone.
- Proactively follow up with customers to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, providing clear communication and attentive service at every step.
- Prepare detailed and accurate quotes and itineraries for customers including road, air freight and boarding services,
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience with empathy and understanding, ensuring each pet’s welfare is the top priority.
- Coordinate bookings, liaise with relevant operational team members, and manage follow-ups to ensure every journey runs seamlessly.
- Maintain accurate records and support process improvements to enhance service delivery.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in sales, customer service, or a similar consultative role within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in animal care, travel, or logistics industries is highly regarded but not essential.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills - both written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to manage multiple enquiries at once.
- Confidence using multiple software systems and digital communication tools, and the ability to pick up new software with ease.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
- Genuine empathy for pets and their people - you care about making every interaction positive and stress-free.
