About the Role

BYD Essendon is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Accessories Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting a wide range of automotive accessories to new and used vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and a great customer experience.

- Install accessories such as tow bars, canopies, bull bars, roof racks, and more
- Conduct pre-delivery accessory checks and ensure correct specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
- Work closely with service and sales teams to meet delivery deadlines
- Provide support with basic mechanical and workshop tasks as required

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience in a similar role or strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sound understanding of hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Monday to Friday role – no weekend work
