Procurement Manager

Based in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, this role focuses on managing professional services procurement, driving strategic sourcing initiatives, and delivering value across the organization.
As a key contributor to the procurement function, you will lead supplier negotiations, optimise spend management, and ensure compliance with company policies while fostering strong stakeholder relationships. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for professional services categories to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align procurement activities with organisational goals.
- Analyse market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies across all procurement activities.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement strategies to mitigate risks and enhance service delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function to streamline processes and maximise value.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or similar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong expertise in professional services procurement, including legal, consulting, HR, or other corporate functions.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favourable outcomes.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and develop cost models to support decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficiency in procurement tools and platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation.
