Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate person-centred programmes to ensure the best outcomes for patients in acute care
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support for patients
- Review occupational therapy interventions and make adjustments as necessary, contributing to patient health and recovery
- Maintain detailed records of patients’ progress and therapy sessions in line with NHS guidelines
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members and newly qualified therapists to foster a learning environment
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Recent experience working in the UK as an Occupational Therapist
- Proven recent experience within the NHS system
- Current registration with the HCPC
