About the role
This is a key role which will have responsibility for the end-to-end processing of customer claims, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution.
- Enter, scan, and attach claims into the system daily.
- Liaise with internal teams (sales, warehouse, distribution, customer service, and credit officers) and external stakeholders (customers and freight forwarders) to resolve claims.
- Investigate and action delivery discrepancies in line with business rules and agreed timeframes.
- Coordinate inspection activities for stock claims and follow through to resolution.
- Ensure credit notes, rejection letters, and return orders are processed within set deadlines.
- Respond promptly to emails, voicemails, and phone enquiries to maintain a high level of customer service.
- Contribute to process improvements by recommending and implementing efficiency initiatives.
- Provide feedback and reporting on claims issues to the Claims Manager and other stakeholders.

- The ability to manage your workload effectively and see allocated cases through to completion.
- Comfort in handling phone conversations with customers and internal teams.
