Casual Educator – South Brisbane

Join us as a Casual Educator at our brand-new, purpose-built service Clarence Street Long Day Care in beautiful South Brisbane

As part of our vibrant and growing team, you'll have the opportunity to work across different age groups, support quality learning experiences, and make a real impact every day.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create engaging, educational activities that promote children's well-being.
- Ensure a safe, supportive environment for children to thrive.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
- Promote the service in line with Catholic Early EdCare’s philosophy.
- Engage in professional development to grow personally and professionally.
- Foster a love of learning in children that will last a lifetime.
- Build strong relationships with families, educators, and the community.

Job Requirements:

- Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
- A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 weeks - Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.
- Effective workplace communication skills
- Willingness to take the Child Protection Training
