Overview

Project Manager - Retail Transformation Program

We're seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, governance, and delivery of a large-scale retail transformation program for a national franchise group on an initial four-month contract for an immediate start.

This role is focused on driving structure, reporting, and stakeholder engagement across multiple workstreams - ensuring the program runs on time and to plan. This opportunity will suit someone with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills who can bring structure, discipline, and momentum to a fast-moving environment.

The Role

As Project Manager, you'll:

- Lead end-to-end delivery of program milestones across multiple sites.
- Build and manage detailed project plans and schedules (MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Track and resolve risks and issues, keeping delivery on time and to budget.
- Prepare executive-level reporting and updates for senior stakeholders and the board.
- Develop and create templates, dashboards, RAID logs, and action trackers to keep visibility high.
- Engage with cross-functional teams - operations, property, IT, marketing - as well as external suppliers.

About You

We're after someone who can bring clarity and momentum to a big program. You'll have:

- Proven experience managing rollout programs from initiation to completion.
- Strong governance, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing ability to drive action across stakeholders.
- Confidence working in complex environments, balancing multiple priorities.
- Retail experience is desirable, but not essential.
- Preferably based in Brisbane with occasional travel to Robina or based in Robina with occasional travel to Brisbane.
