We're looking for a Junior Formulator (Product Control) to bring curiosity, precision, and fresh ideas to our team on Tasmania's northwest coast.
About the Role
As a Junior Formulator, you'll be at the heart of developing and optimising fish feed formulations that deliver quality, performance, and sustainability. Working closely with our Senior Formulator, you'll support daily formulation tasks, analyse data, and help ensure the right recipes reach production on time.
In this role, you will:
- Maintain, update, and optimise feed formulations.
- Manage formulation records, analyse data, and prepare reports.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams to align recipes with raw materials.
- Assist with quality checks, regulatory documentation, and laboratory support.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation projects.

You'll bring:
Core Capabilities
- A degree in science or a relevant laboratory qualification.
- Knowledge of fish nutrition, quality control, or food science is highly regarded.
- Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
Valued Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in a laboratory, R&D, or formulation setting would be a significant advantage.
