About the Role
The division of medicine is seeking a Clinical Nurse with excellent assessment, asthma management and communication skills.
The asthma in the north project, supported by Asthma South Australia, seeks to co-design a model of care with patients and clinicians, supported by a digital platform, to reduce avoidable hospital attendances and improve the care of children and adults with severe asthma.
We are looking for an experienced nurse with chronic disease management, clinical assessment and care planning skills to deliver the asthma in the north project and support other telehealth initiatives. You will be a part of a small team and you will lead the day-to-day operations of the division of medicine's telehealth programs.
As a part of the division of medicine telehealth team, you will be responsible for:
- the day-to-day operation of telehealth programs, including research components, supporting other team members and communications with clinical teams
- recruitment and onboarding of telehealth program participants
- remote assessment, monitoring and care planning for participants in telehealth programs
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
