Partner with the best

Under general supervision, you’ll performs welding applications within one or more work teams. You’ll also performs visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications. Helps to facilitate the team in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving welding problems that enhance through-put within the work team. Responsible for supporting the team and team's objectives.

Salary Range: AUD 80,000 – AUD 95,000 / Per-annum

As the Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul (AMO) Welder (Wellbore Intervention), you will be responsible for:

- Being competent to weld and performs welding according to the applicable welding procedure specification and/or drawing requirement. This includes familiarity on carbide brazing.

- Being knowledgeable in welding processes particularly GMAW (Gas metal arc weld) and Flux cored arc welding(FCAW) process.

- Being capable at hand grinding and pre-heat on welds.

- Conducting visual and in-process inspections in accordance with industry and Baker Hughes quality specifications

- Being competent to use measuring instruments and ensure product meets drawing requirement prior to release from weld station.

- Supporting shop activities and perform other tasks as assigned by Shop Supervisor.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have passed periodic welding tests and qualifications in compliance with qualification procedures and/or ASME IX

- Have at least 3 – 5 years’ experience in welding - GMAW (Gas metal arc weld) and / or FCAW (Flux cored arc welding).

- Basic Microsoft office and computer knowledge to perform daily routine task.

- Have ability to learn SAP and perform system transaction.

- Comply with company’s safety requirements including perform mask fit test, hearing test etc.
