Overview

Thredbo is Australia’s premier year-round alpine destination. Open 365 days a year, Thredbo is home to Australia’s only alpine Gondola, Australia's highest lifted point, a picturesque European-style village, the country's biggest alpine events calendar and the Southern Hemisphere's only Alpine Coaster. In winter, Thredbo offers access to the country's best skiing & snowboarding and in summer, the mountain transforms into the ultimate hiking and biking destination.

The Guest Services Department is the face of Thredbo and in many cases Guest Services employees will have the first interaction a guest will have with the resort. Sales staff are primarily responsible provided exceptional customer service across the resort. You will be expected to have knowledge on all Thredbo products, services, programs & events, along with general resort operational knowledge and community-based questions. You will often assist guests with navigation of the online shop.

Within this role you will assist our guest’s anywhere around the resort not only in the sales environment but out on the mountain too. To be successful in your application, you must be able to demonstrate a genuine passion and enthusiasm for creating a memorable and quality experience for our guests.

About the Role

- Deliver a professional guest services experience to a wide range of guests
- Maintain the integrity of the customer database.
- Completing tasks within set guidelines.
- Respond to guest enquires through multiple modes of communication
- Accurately complete sale transactions and follow cashiering procedures.

About You

- Experience in tourism-based customer service or information desk
- Experience in retail cash handling.
- Ability to manage tasks and responsibilities accordingly.
- Strong ability to interact with people.
- Previous experience in operating RTP is desirable but not necessary
