Pearson VUE offers a great environment to start or grow your career. We are hiring for a Casual Test Administrator to join our team at 470 Collins Street, Melbourne 3000.

Our ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork and availability to work a variety of shifts across Weekdays (Monday to Friday) and Weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Operating hours are between 7am and 11pm.

Salary: AUD 37.13 per hour. Candidate must be open to a flexible range of morning and evening shifts. This is strictly a Casual position and will remain as such.

Responsibilities

- Providing an exceptional customer service and a secure exam delivery environment.
- Complying with all testing procedures and strictly adhering to company policies.
- Checking and verifying candidate identification against test registration and helping them set up for test.
- Explaining exam procedures and proctoring/invigilating candidates while testing.
- Troubleshooting with internal departments to fix any technical issues.
- Escalating any policy breaches immediately to relevant business personnel.
- Completing light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming floors and sanitizing keyboards after each candidate finishes their examination schedule.
- Other ad hoc duties as directed.

Qualifications

- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 1 year customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience proctoring or invigilating exams is highly desirable.
- Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Must be able to sit for long periods and be able to bend and lift up to 20 lbs independently.
- Must be comfortable in a quiet testing environment, hear soft voices, and see details from a distance.
